The Columbia United FC U14 Challenge Girls were named Finalists in the SCYSA Publix President’s Medal State Cup held May 5-6 in Summerville.

 

The team had a great day on Saturday, winning 4-0 over CUSC White and defeating USA Spirit 3-0. U14 Challenge then faced eventual champion ASA X-treme in a very intense game at 8:00 AM on Sunday that resulted in a 0-0 draw. Later on Sunday the team suffered a disappointing 3-1 loss to LCSC Force but still finished second on points in the round-robin tournament format. Congratulations to Columbia United FC U14 Challenge Girls for a great season culminating in a second place State Cup finish!
