Advanced Camp Benefits
These camps are designed for the more skilled Recreational, Academy and Classic players.  Our coaches will be focusing on sharpening and challenging these players’ skills in a more intense program.
  • Featuring Columbia United FC Select and Academy Coaches and led by Academy Director Greg Vallee
  • For skilled Recreational, Academy and Classic players ages 8-14
  • Enrollment is limited to 100 players to allow individual attention from coaches
  • Each player will receive a camp T-shirt, water bottle and bag
  • Each player will receive an official camp ball
  • Daily 4v4 training and afternoon games
  • Goalkeeping instruction provided
  • Campers will need to bring a bag lunch and drink
  • Written evaluation given at the conclusion of camp    
Advanced Camp Curriculum
The Columbia United FC Advanced Camps are based off of the Junior Academy philosophy of total player development and teaching each player to be comfortable with the ball at their feet in any situation.
 
The Junior Academy and Select Staff Coaches will instruct all players in the following:
·         Technical
o   Dribbling, Passing, Receiving, Finishing, Heading & Defending
·         Tactical
o   Basic Principals of Attacking
o   Basic Principals of Defending
o   Importance of Transition
·         Physical
o   Speed, Agility, Quickness & Strength
·         Mental
o   Preparation, Awareness & Motivation
 
Advanced Camp Daily Schedule
 
9:00-9:25 am Warm-up
9:30-10:30 am Junior Academy Player Development Circuit Training
10:30-10:40 am Break
10:45-12:00 noon Technical and Tactical Topic per Age Group
12:00-1:00 pm Lunch (each player needs to bring a bag lunch)
1:15-2:30 pm Competitive Games
2:30 pm End of Camp
 
Camp Staff
Camp Staff will consist of professional licensed and trained Columbia Untied FC Junior Academy and Select Staff Coaches.
Advanced Camps will be run by Junior Academy and U13/14 Director Greg Vallee.

Cancellations for camp must be made in writing at least 7 days prior to camp opening date in order to receive a refund.
