PROCEDURES FOR OFFICIATING SCSCL

or PMSL LEAGUE GAMES

> Before the game check player cards. Pull all players over and check player to player card. After checking the player cards return them to the team manager. REFEREES SHOULD NOT KEEP THE PLAYER CARDS UNTIL AFTER THE GAME.

> While checking player cards be aware of any players or coaches not present that may be serving RED CARD suspensions.

> Before the game starts make sure that each team pays half the game fees. Fees are as follows:

> After the game referees are reminded that your job is not done if red cards, serious injury, or major incidents have occurred. This includes all league matches, tournaments, friendly matches and all state cup games. All referees within 48 hours are required to fill out a web based REFEREE MATCH REPORT or can either fill out and fax the old USSF match report. A referee who fails to file a match report when required could be subject to administrative penalties, fines, or suspensions. Old USSF Match Report and the new web based REFEREE MATCH REPORT can be found on the SC referee organization web site. www.scref.org

> After your Match Game Report has been filled out notification will be sent automatically to the league administrators. Emailing ahead of time would be welcomed so the assignor & league administrators will be on the lookout for your Match Game Report. NOTE: Because of this new SCYSA policy there will no longer be a RED CARD TRACKING FORM to sign before or after each match.

PROCEDURES FOR TEAMS PLAYING IN THE SCSCL

or PMSL LEAGUE

> Before the game have the referee check your player cards. Make sure to have the referee check player to player card. After the referee has checked your cards make sure to get your cards back then. REFEREES SHOULD NOT KEEP YOUR PLAYER CARDS TILL THE END OF THE GAME.

> If you are having a player / coach sit out for a RED CARD suspension, then maybe make the referee aware that player / coach is serving their suspension.

> Pay the referee and assistant referees before the game starts. Each team pays the officials half the game fee.

> After the game, if a player or coach receives a RED CARD make sure and have the referee let you know for what reason that player or coach has been ejected. Referees do not need to collect the player cards from players or coaches who receive RED CARDS.

> Within 48 hours be sure and fill out the SCYSA RED CARD EJECTION NOTICE and submit to the SCYSA office. Forms may be downloaded from the SCYSA web site. www.scysa.org

> Report your score to the SCSCL or PMSL web site by Tuesday.
